by Snack Out Loud, owned by Fresca Foods, partnered with the Emergency Family Assistance Association to help provide 1,000 baskets of food for low-income families, seniors and people with disabilities in Boulder and Broomfield Counties through the Holiday Basket program. Fresca Foods was proud to donate food, bags and time for the eighth year at the Louisville, Colorado facility on Thursday, November 6.
“For most of us, the holiday season is a time to gather with friends and family, often enjoying a wonderful meal together. EFAA’s Holiday Food Baskets include ingredients needed to prepare favorite seasonal dishes, extra food for the month and a grocery store gift card, allowing people to purchase perishable items, like meat. It’s really wonderful to see the smiling faces when families leave EFAA’s food bank with something special,” explains Liz Rowland, Food Bank Manager.
This year, more than 30 Fresca Foods employees, including the Snack Out Loud team, got together to help assemble the food baskets and made sure to include samples of Crunchy Bean Snacks so the basket recipients can crunch up a favorite holiday recipe.
